Job Description

We are seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead our mechanical engineering team and oversee the design and implementation of complex mechanical systems for large-scale construction projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and experience in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering design for complex projects • Oversee HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection system design • Manage and mentor junior engineers • Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors • Review and approve mechanical engineering drawings • Ensure compliance with building codes and standards • Participate in project meetings and client presentations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering • 8-12 years of experience in mechanical engineering • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software • Strong knowledge of building codes and standards • Excellent communication and leadership skills • Experience in project management and team leadership
